A Foundation of Wellness
My second most monumentous adventure is in my search and the finding of physical wellness. It didn't come easy, I struggled, suffered and floundered until luck had its way. Something in me had known that health had to be something in a natural vein. I just didn't believe that the body did not at least some capacity to heal itself. After all, what we see of its miraculous healing and creation of life are amazing. But without understanding the truth of it and our true body needs I did not have a way to effect a recovery.
The pages you're reading are a lighthearted way to heal ideals of health that make it harder on us to achieve. Wellness has become something that too many people avoid thinking about until they get sick or in pain. In addition, these pages introduce a very important tool for our health. And something that makes health easier and more happy. Health, in part, is about our self-control, our decisions and our follow through. But we're human and because of that it can be hard. A buddy or community is needed. As we get and give support and knowledge we are helped in our own goals. When we pull together, we find strength beyond our own. Rather than giving advice on health, this program is clearly guided by the client working with their own typical or conventional concerns. Community programs and mentors can be found online and at local events as found in your newspapers, health food stores, hospitals, doctors offices and the like.

Trails & Trials, Hope and Moving on
How sad it is that too many have failed, or indeed have given up on health goals. Sometimes goals are too high and thwart achievement. For example, the goal of healthy eating needs to be specific, named and simple at the start. "Mistakes" are what we must learn to see as being nothing more than a practice run for success, a sign to re- evaluate and change our methods if need be.
Compassion for ourselves and our well- meaning efforts form a vital part of recovery and healing. These and other attitudes help us tune in and be happier about the very idea of health and encouraged towards it. Attitude is key, vital in finding more fulfilling ways that help us encourage and enjoy our wellness. We learn to raise our attitudes and vision as we learn to encourage, cajole and enjoy ourselves within this path.
